• The Coleridge Way covers a variety of terrain, some of which can be very muddy after heavy rain.
• Some areas of the route, particularly Lype Hill and Dunkery, are remote and subject to rapid changes in the weather.
• They should not be attempted when visibility is poor.
• You should wear walking boots and have appropriate clothing with you at all times.
• If gates are shut please ensure that you shut them after you have gone through.
• Please keep dogs under close control especially when close to farm animals

• Please exercise extreme care when crossing main roads and walking along country lanes.
• Be aware that your mobile phone may not work on some sections of the route

There are, inevitably, many ups and downs as you go from village to village along The Coleridge Way. Total height gained along the whole 36 miles is 1872 metres
